I actually have a date for New Year's...only the 2nd time since my husband died. It takes a lot of pressure off of going out, I've noticed.

I did end up with family time, both blood and chosen. The snow made for a much more stressful weekend and holiday than planned, but its done now. I'm finally unwinding a bit from the depression I've been in since Halloween.

Just in time for anxiety to kick in and start overanalyzing all the "mistakes" I made in the last year.

The gods help us all from brains that run too fast and think too much.
