just got home from Ren Faire and showered. i'm too full of yummy calzone to go right to sleep. however, i have a 9:30 am appt tomorrow morning, so i suppose i should try, soon.

we finally got a decent crowd today. my staff made money and seemed happy. i got to work on a lot of cool people: both insiders (including the owner and Cast) and patrons (including my high school friend 4princessmom, who paid me some of the sweetest compliments i've ever gotten) alike. my friend cuphoenix, who i hadn't seen in ages, showed up and gave me TWO off-the ground hugs.

it's been a good day. tired now.

All complements being very true! I have to say, I was a little worried going to get that massage--I've heard (or read on LJ!) so many great things, I was wondering if it would be like when you hear a movie's so incredible that when you see it, even if it's a perfectly good movie, it's kind of a let-down because it could never live up to the hype? But you lived up to all the hype and more! I'm still rolling my neck and shoulders and feeling things move that I had forgotten even *could* move...and that heat thing...that was just...wow. I so wish I lived closer, I'd have a standing appointment with you! You've got an amazing talent. And to think, I knew you "way back when" ;)

you're very sweet. and thank you; that was much-needed read. not that i didn't have a lot of satisfied customers today, but... we got some annoying news this weekend that kind of mucks up my whole week.

ah well, "that which doth not kill thee", and all that.

glad to hear you're still feeling loose! i hope it lasts a couple weeks. :)
